Take A Look At AccuPoint, Advanced Next Generation
AccuPoint Video Overview
The Key Molecule Within AccuPoint
ATP is a molecule that stores and transfers energy in almost every living organism on Earth — even you. Harnessing this science, our AccuPoint Advanced NG instrument measures the amount of ATP present using relative light units (RLUs). The RLU thresholds are based on established criteria to reflect effective cleaning practices and can be raised or lowered according to your needs. When verifying the effectiveness of your sanitation, the less ATP, the better. Testing your environment with our system accurately detects any low levels of ATP residue, even when a surface appears visibly clean, for confidence in your sanitation verification.

Take A Look At DipSensor, The Pocket Test For Milk Production
Unisensor®DipSensor
DipSensor helps you to manage the antibiotic risk at the farm and at the dairy. If the antimicrobial risk within a herd is not evaluated properly, the consequences for farmers can be extremely serious:
- Milk tests positive for antibiotics by the dairy, resulting in penalties
- Contamination of the whole milk collection truck
At the dairy level, residues of antibiotics, combined or not, even if they are below MRLs, can interfere with yogurt and cheese manufacturing processes and disrupt acidification.
The Solution
DipSensor Lateral Flow tests allow farmers to easily and quickly check their milk production for contaminants by detecting Beta-lactam, Tetracycline and Cefalexin molecules. Avoid unnecessary penalties.
Key Benefits
- No equipment required.
- 10 min test.
- Tests for Beta-lactams, Tetracyclines & Cefalexin.
- Clear indicator Lines and easy to read.
- Avoiding penalties

RAPID’L.mono Medium
RAPID’L.mono Medium is a selective chromogenic medium for the direct detection and enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes and Listeria spp. in food and environmental samples.
RAPID’ L.mono is the only chromogenic method to be validated for L. monocytogenes and Listeria spp. detection on the same plate.
Key Benefits:
- Listeria spp. detection 24 and 48 hr after enrichment
- L. monocytogenes enumeration in 24 hr without confirmation
- L. monocytogenes confirmation in 24 hr after using the iQ-Check Listeria monocytogenes II Kit
- Simple and cost effective
- Only 1 broth, and 1 plate required for each sample
- Easy confirmation
- Easy-to-Read Chromogenic reaction
- L. monocytogenes (PIPLC+/xylose-) forms blue colonies
- L. ivanovii (PIPLC+/xylose+) forms blue-green colonies with distinct yellow halos
- Other Listeria species form white colonies
RAPID’E.coli 2 Medium
RAPID’E.coli 2 Medium is a selective chromogenic agar used for direct enumeration, without confirmation, of colonies of Escherichia coli and other coliforms in food products.
Key Benefits:
-
Simultaneous enumeration of E. coli and coliforms at 37°C without further confirmation
- Specific enumeration of E. coli at 44°C without further confirmation
- Results in 18–24 hr
- Certified NF VALIDATION according to the ISO 16140 standard and validated by AOAC
Principle
The medium is based on the simultaneous detection of β-D-Glucuronidase (GLUC) and β-D-Galactosidase (GAL) activities. E. coli (GAL+/GLUC+) forms violet to pink colonies, while other coliforms (GAL+/GLUC-) form blue to green colonies.
Detection of GLUC confers a high specificity to the method because E. coli is one of the few species of Enterobacteriaceae to possess this enzyme. Growth of interfering flora is inhibited, especially at 44°C, conferring high specificity to the medium.
RAPID’E.coli O157
RAPID’E.coli O157:H7 Medium is a selective chromogenic agar for the detection, isolation, and presumptive identification of Escherichia coli O157:H7 in human food products and environmental samples.
Key Benefits:
-
High specificity to E. coli O157 serotype H7
- Only 1 plate required per sample
- Results in 48 hr
- Certified NF VALIDATION according to the ISO 16140 standard and validated by AOAC
Simple Protocol
RAPID’E.coli O157:H7 Medium provides laboratories with a rapid and cost-effective solution for E. coli O157:H7 detection, given that a single plate is required for each sample. The latex test for confirmation has been validated for use on isolated colonies grown on RAPID’E.coli plates.
Other Applications of RAPID’E.coli O157:H7 Medium
- As a second selective medium in different standardized protocols (for example, the ISO 16654 reference method)
- To confirm positive results obtained with the iQ-Check E. coli O157:H7 PCR Detection Kit
Easy-to-Read Results
RAPID’E.coli O157:H7 medium permits the detection of E. coli O157 serotype H7 using specific chromogenic substrates and biochemical activities.
- Typical E. coli O157:H7 (Sorbitol/SORB +, β-Glucuronidase/GLUC +) colonies are characteristically convex, 1–2 mm in diameter, and dark blue to black in color
- Atypical GLUC + E. coli O157:H7 are detected and present as dark blue to black colonies
- Atypical SORB + E. coli O157:H7 are detected and present as blue to turquoise blue colonies
RAPID’E.coli O157:H7 Medium is very specific. Most other bacteria and yeasts are inhibited or produce a different color. The selectivity of RAPID’E.coli O157:H7 Medium can be improved by adding selective agents such as novobiocin and potassium tellurite.
RAPID’Sakazakii Medium
RAPID’Sakazakii Medium is a selective chromogenic agar that is intended for the isolation and detection of Cronobacter spp.
Detection is based on a specific enzymatic activity common to all species of Cronobacter. Hydrolysis of the chromogenic substrate 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indol α-D-glucopyranoside leads to the formation of typical turquoise-colored colonies.
The medium includes compounds carefully selected to promote the growth of Cronobacter spp. while suppressing interfering flora, giving the medium increased selectivity. Competing bacteria, if not completely inhibited, will form light purple or gray colonies.
Key Benefits:
- Easy-to-read chromogenic reaction Blue to blue-green colonies
- Cost-effective short protocol
- No selective enrichment in mLST + Vancomycin
- Negative results in less than 42 hr
- Validation
- Certified NF VALIDATION according to the ISO 16140:2003 standard for the detection of Cronobacterspp. in infant milk powders
RAPID’B.cereus Medium
RAPID’ B.cereus is the first chromogenic medium allowing the enumeration of all the pathogenic Bacillus cereus species including Bacillus cytotoxicus in food samples.
Due to its unique sensitivity, it enables food microbiology laboratories to meet regulatory requirement for this organism.
The sensitivity of the medium has been specially optimized to allow growth of all pathogenic B. cereus strains, even those that are difficult to culture, such as B. cytotoxicus. The interpretation of RAPID’B.cereus plates is further facilitated by the high level of contrast between the color of the colonies and the agar.
Key Benefits
- Quick response: complete results in 24 +/- 3 hr
- Easy-to-read, red colonies with high level of contrast: combining strong coloration of typical colonies and the contrast of the halo, accurate counting is very easy to perform
- Clear enumeration of the sensitive B. cytotoxicus
- Inhibition of background flora on raw matrices
- No confirmation required
