Our selection process is designed to not only assess your skills, experience, and competencies but to give you a strong sense of who we are, what our culture is and what its like to work for us. The stages will vary depending on the role but below will give you a flavour of how we select our new colleagues.
CV Review
When you submit your CV for a live role you will receive a response so you know your CV has made it to the right place. All CVs are reviewed against the skills and competencies required for the role. If you are not called for the next stage, it doesn’t mean you don’t have a valuable skill set, it just might not be right for this particular role.
Telephone interview
A shortlist is created from all CVs submitted for further review. This is a short telephone call with our HR team to find out a bit more about your background, motivations, and interest in the role. We will also check some details like notice period and availability and will tell you a bit more about the role. We will also answer any questions you may have and tell you about the next stages.
First round interview
This will usually be with your manager and will be a more in-depth interview where your manager will go through your CV and ask some questions about your background, your career history, your technical knowledge, and your career aspirations. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask questions and find out a lot more about the specifics of the role. This is often conducted online via MS Teams.
Testing
This stage may consist of a short psychometric test which looks at preferred behavioural styles in the workplace. There is no right or wrong and no pass or fail. These tests just tell us a little bit more about how you like to work. Depending on the role you may be asked to complete a technical test or we ask you to complete an aptitude test. You can read more about these tests here: Our testing partner
2nd Round interview
During this stage you will meet again with your manager and some other members of the team. You may also meet with our HR team and have the opportunity to meet with some of your potential new colleagues. We will give you a tour of the building and answer any questions you may have.
Offer stage
Once you have signed your contract, we will begin the onboarding process. You will be sent a link to our onboarding portal where you can find out more about working for us and we can gather all the relevant details for your employment. We have a full induction and training programme designed to set you up for success and our HR team and your manager will be on hand to ensure your first few days and weeks are a success. Congratulations and welcome to the team!
